- Resolution
- Lower resolution (e.g. 480p/720p) compresses faster and gives a much smaller file; keep original if you need full detail and don't mind a slower, larger result.
- Compression level (CRF)
- Higher means a smaller file with lower quality; lower keeps quality but a bigger file. 28 is a good balance for email and messaging.
- Target size (MB)
- Name the size you need. We work out the bitrate from the clip length so the result lands at or just under it, without going over.
