- Two ways to compress. 'By quality' lets you trade detail for size with a slider. 'To a target size' lets you name an exact size (like 100 KB) and we hit it for you.
- Quality (%)
- Higher keeps more detail but a larger file; lower shrinks it more but can soften detail and add visible artifacts. 70% is a good balance.
- Target size per image (KB)
- Set the size each image should come out at — drag the slider in 50 KB steps or type an exact number. With several images, every one is compressed to about that size (not the total).
